Get Zille in to fix education

Two things made me laugh uncontrollably this past week. I found them so amusing that I didn’t want to be in hysterics by myself, so I shared with my virtual friends on Twitter: They were equally amused.

As I recall, a few months ago the country was under attack from a foreign entity – snow. Of course, we all went bat crazy because many of us were seeing it for the very first time. Every other status update on Twitter or Facebook was about the snow or how cold it was.

On one of those very cold, dreary, yet memorable SA days, an event happened on Facebook. Someone was irritated by all the status updates about the snow, and this is what she wrote. (She will know who she is if she ever decides to read this publication. Which is pretty unlikely, if you ask me. Don’t worry – you will know why I say so after you have read through this column.) I have decided against sharing the relevant person’s names to protect the innocent.

I quote: “Why is pipol when snow is snow is all talk about why is not talk about somating differense, likes songs movies likes footballs everything. Snow is started to bore me iyoooooo #robaling.”

This ladies and gentlemen, is a fine example of the outcomes of the SA education system. Read the rest of this entry →

Nelson Mandela 94th Birthday - EFT introduced to Equal Education

An open letter to our beloved Mandela on his 94th Birthday Today,   18th July, 2012

Dear Sir

Today was momentous – for you, for me and for the schools in Khayelitsha.   You know why?   Today I introduced EFT into the South African educational system – starting with Khayelitsha – one of the most impvoerished and over crowded townships in the Western Cape – 132 public schools and thousands of youngsters will soon be tapping away!.

I met with and presented an EFT for Schools workshop to Lunathi Mahobe, the Librarian of Equal Education.  The Equal Education offices hummed with activity.  Donations of books were streaming in.  Read the rest of this entry →

Passion comes from having a stake, having a long-term commitment

May 26, 2012 in Healing the Human Spirit

It is with great joy I realise I will not live forever.

Life sometimes have to show us the ‘exit’ door clearly – a wake-up call from Source – before we realise our lives have very little meaning.  We work at jobs we loathe, we think ourselves inadequate.  Test this theory now.

What is your passion?  What are your interests?  Imagine yourself living your interests right now and being paid for it.  This is your ‘heart’ talking.

Now think about whether this is possible or not.  What will it take to turn this passionate dream of yours into reality?   This is your intellect talking – your ‘third database or chakra’

Ah, I hear you saying:

-  I don’t know enough.

-  Who am I to think I can actually do it?

-  Who will use my services?

-  I can’t stop my job to do this – it will take too long before I can make money

-  People will laugh at me – life is not for dreamers!

Visualise this scenario.   Read the rest of this entry →

The Ringing Radiance

May 26, 2012 in Healing the Human Spirit

Divine Entity - painting by Elm

What is this ‘Ringing Radiance‘? To understand we have to look at the concept of ‘Original Sin’. There are many different views on this subject. Let us look at a few of them.

The Traditional Concept of ‘Original Sin

The Orthodox Western religious concept of ‘Original Sin

Orthodox western religions teach that we are born with ‘original sin’. If one applies logic to the consequences of this statement it would mean we are guilty from birth: That we are in effect offenders before we have taken our second breath in this life. And that our only ‘redemption’ is to accept the doctrine of Christianity. If we don’t accept this doctrine we are doomed to eternal hell according to Protestants. The Catholics offer a ray of hope with their transit house of ‘purgatory’ – though purgatory is by no means guaranteed. Read the rest of this entry →

The Plant Between Heaven and Earth

May 25, 2012 in Plant Kingdom

Garden Diva

There is so much beauty not ‘visible’ to the naked eye, and because we don’t see it, we don’t believe it exists.  I invite you to join me in this dance of joy and beauty and like Alice in Wonderland you will see the hitherto hidden magic of the plant kingdom.

Every living thing vibrates with a melody, a divine melody that gives it life.  And one of the expressions of this melody is the energy field: exquisite colours unique to the living entity.  Subject to the emotional and physical well-being of the living entity these colours are not static and change by the nano-second;.  Even a rock has an energy field!  Each colour has its own frequency – and what we see can be verified using scientific monitoring instruments.

The energy field of plants – as well as humans and objects-  can also be viewed using the Kirlian Photographic Method – pictures of a ‘Kirlian’ photographed leaf – before damage to the leaf and after damage to the leaf can be seen here.

You cannot see this energy field by looking straight at an object.  You have to use your peripheral vision
